I am passionate about engaging children, youth and young adults in therapy. Through a strength-based, collaborative and down-to-earth approach I connect with my clients in a genuine way. I know reaching out for support is not easy and that it takes a lot of courage. I am here to create a safe, non-judgmental space as you work towards your mental health goals.
I am a registered social worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work, an Honours Bachelor of Social Work degree and a BA in Child and Family Studies. I have been providing mental health support to children, youth, adults and families for over ten years. I support folks who may be struggling with school-related mental health concerns, anxiety, mood, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships and histories of trauma.
I use a variety of therapeutic modalities in my work such CBT, DBT, ACT and Mindfulness. I believe that a client-centred and eclectic pathway of support can bring about positive change and often use creativity, art and play-based techniques in session.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time in nature, painting and snuggling my dog. I love long car rides, listening to music, attending markets and festivals, travelling and hanging out with my friends and family.
I look forward to meeting with you and walking this path together.
