About Us

Welcome to New Moon Counselling! We are a team of Registered Social Workers and Psychotherapists focused on supporting our clients through their mental health, relationships and emotional heath.

Our team works with individuals ages 8 and up, couples and families. We offer a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space for clients to feel comfortable and heard. 

Our down-to-earth and eclectic approach helps us build a more human connection to those we work with.

We practice from a trauma informed, client focused lense, and use a variety of theraputic modalities including DBT, CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to name a few. 

The NMC team offers a free virtual consultation to meet and see if we are a good fit for your needs!

Individual Counselling

Our practice with individuals is designed to help you understand and manage a number of challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationship issues.

We work with couples in all stages of their relationship. By being curious observers of the relationship, we can help you understand and communicate through the challenges you are going through.

Child & Teen Therapy

Through therapy your child and teen can get support to understand and cope with their emotions, school experiences, ADHD & ASD diagnosis, while you also learn tools to best support them.

What to Expect

We start off by booking a free consultation where you can meet your therapist, ask any questions you may have and see if its a good fit. Once a full session is booked, we will send you an intake & consent form to complete, and then you meet your therapist for your session! We follow your lead and work collaboratively with you to meet your goals.
