I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and hold a Masters degree in Addiction and Concurrent Mental Health Disorders Counselling. I have over 4 years experience working with adults experiencing substance use and mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, anger and addiction.
My aim is to offer a supportive, trusting and collaborative environment in which clients feel safe challenging themselves to grow towards meaningful change. I work alongside clients to identify the change they would like to see in their life and develop individualized strategies to get there. It is important to me that everyone I work with feels heard, respected, and never judged.
I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy.
Outside of work I like to spend time going on hikes with my new puppy, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and travel whenever I get a chance.
I look forward to meeting and working with you.
